We are excited to announce that Skill Hire has officially opened a Victorian branch located in South Melbourne. Skill Hire in Victoria has a strong focus on the civil construction industry and will be creating jobs and employment pathways through training, apprenticeships, traineeships and labour hire.
Karl Stockman, Skill Hire Victoria General Manager and John Robins, Skill Hire Victoria Consultant are already operational, working with clients to fulfil their staffing needs, expanding our Skill Hire network.
Our initial focus is to engage with industry to fully understand their needs then recruit and verify candidates for placement in the industry. We are committed to develop industry oriented training programs that meet the civil construction industry requirements.
Further to the obvious labour hire benefits that our new team offer Victorian civil construction companies, their years of experience in the construction and recruitment industries is a huge benefit, because they personally understand these businesses’ challenges and know how to provide staffing and training solutions.
We are now enthusiastic to connect our WA clients who have branches in the eastern states with our team in Victoria.
For people wanting to change careers into the construction industry in Victoria we now have plenty of opportunities to facilitate your long term career change. If you want to change careers, then we encourage you to take advantage of the boom in Victoria which is busy with dynamic projects, both short and medium term.
Our team is also looking for people with long term experience in the civil construction industry wanting to improve their career. We can provide upskilling opportunities with the range of training we are planning to broaden your capabilities.
Our view is that strategic growth is about being active where industry needs the direct support, with regional Victoria and further up the east coast as identified future opportunities.
